The Rural Meeting Place is not just a website, it’s a business tool that used effectively can help you increase your business and make more people aware of who you are and what you do.
The Rural Meeting Place encourages members to communicate with other businesses in the areas of shropshire, Herefordshire and Worcsetershire on a regular basis in relaxed surroundings.
Members will receive regular communications through the newsletter, The Rural Hub, which keeps you up to date on business matters locally and nationally.
We have a calendar of meetings and events that can be accessed by members and non-members alike and we will display details of any meetings and events that you wish to have listed, e-mail over the relevant info and we will make sure that they are included.
We regularly interact with other Business Groups such as Town and County Chambers and other network groups whether they are mixed or ladies only e.g. Wire
Who are we?
The Rural
Meeting Place is a privately owned networking
organisation that provides its members with a focal point for business to
business communications. It is a rural
hub for businesses in Shropshire, Herefordshire,
Worcestershire and Powys.
What do we do?
At The Rural Meeting Place we introduce like-minded business
people to each other with the aim of doing good business and creating lasting business relationships.
How do we do it?
We hold fortnightly networking meetings, Directors' Lunches and
social events that our members can attend; we do not insist that you have to
attend all of them, but it helps if you can find the time to attend a many that
you can.
Why do we do it?
Because over the years we have attended many different
networking events and with The Rural Meeting Place we feel that we have brought
together all of the good elements and disposed of the elements that we feel are
too stringent.
We hope that you will feel it’s a club that is relaxed and
conducive to good business and all for a very reasonable joining fee with no
hidden administration costs.
We like to see our Members interact at the meetings and gain Business Support using other Members as mentors. Over the past 3 years we have seen Members and their Businesses 'grow' through this interaction.
